FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for creation of wear-resistant coatings on rubbing surfaces of bearings and sliding supports, guides and other parts of machines from aluminium alloys applied in machine-building, metal-working, machine-tool and other industries. The method includes microarc oxidation MAO with superposition of positive and negative impulses of voltage with frequency of 50 Hz, at the same time after MAO onto the surface of the working strengthened layer of the coating a layer is applied with a composition containing 1 wt part of copper oxide nanopowder and 3 wt parts of liquid glass and same of distilled water, the part is dried at 20°C for 50-60 min., afterwards the part is repeatedly treated in the mode of arc electrophoresis in a silicate-alkaline electrolyte, containing 1 g/l of potassium hydroxide and 2 g/l of sodium liquid glass at current density of 25-26 A/dm2 for 1-2 min.
EFFECT: reduced coefficient of coating friction, reduced attrition wear of a movable joint, increase of its loading capacity and wear resistance.
