FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new compound, namely, N1,N1,N2,N2,N3,N3-hexa-(2-oxypropyl)-2,4,6-triaminotoluene of the formula (I)
that can be used as a cross-linking agent in preparing rigid and elastic polyurethane foam and to a method for its preparing. Method involves interaction of 2,4,6-triaminotoluene with propylene oxide in autoclave at temperature 50-100 C in the presence of hydroxyl-containing solvent, preferably polyester or water.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
