FIELD: shoe, sewing, furniture industry using synthetic leather.

SUBSTANCE: synthetic leather includes polymer-impregnated nonwoven material with specific weight of from 150 to 500 g/m² and longitudinal and transverse tensile strength exceeding 300 H/5 cm. Nonwoven material is made up of multiple continuous threads formed from melt, colored during forming process, stretched by aerodynamic method and directly laid into nonwoven material. Linear density of nonwoven material is below 2 Dtex. Upon preliminary strengthening, multiple threads are split by at least 90% into super micro fibrous continuous fibers with linear density less than 0.2 Dtex and strengthened.

EFFECT: increased strength and reduced production cost of synthetic leather.
