FIELD: mining industry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes, if mine is in upper portion of deposit, construction of slanting track, boring of vertical shaft and vertical venting wells. Set of slanting coal beds lying below the mine is opened by a group of mines, while vertical central-double shafts from mine bottom are driven, from the place closest to non-operating side of mine, for small depth, then from near shafts capital crosscuts up to upper bed are driven, after that for venting coal fields from earth surface central venting wells in empty rock are drilled, along slanting non-operating side of the mine up to exit of lowest bed of the set below the mine bottom, for venting slanting fields flange vertical venting shafts are drilled from the surface up to exit of lowest bed onto level of capital crosscuts.

EFFECT: rational use of open extraction, more effective operation with special-type coal deposits.
