FIELD: mining; methods of underground mining of coal seams. SUBSTANCE: method includes division of mine field into blocks; rising of vertical blind shafts from bottom up from group underground workings to seam. In this case, group horizontal workings are driven in bottom of lower worked seam at a depth of lower boundary of mine field and connected with main load-lifting opening. Each block is mind downward by strips from block boundary to its center. Made in each block is vertical block shaft with exit to day surface. Inclined working is driven in group of blocks on dip and connected with block shaft. EFFECT: simplified driving of workings, equipment delivery and operation of extraction pillar, higher safety and improved comfort for workers. 2 dwg
