FIELD: hydroacoustics; navigational aids for aqualung swimmers, divers and light self-contained underwater craft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes hydroacoustic transducer and coherent light source, two fiber coils with phase shifter in one of them and photodetector whose output is connected via photocurrent amplifier to visual indicator and headphone; one fiber coil is made in form of two parts connected in series and second fiber coil is made in form of two parts also connected in series; parts are symmetrically mounted relative to axial line of self-propeller craft in orthogonal coordinate system; hydroacoustic transducer is secured at similar distance from said parts of fiber coil.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; possibility of operation under poor visibility conditions.
