FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed waveguide polarizer that can be used as part of antenna-waveguide devices of satellite and radio-relay communication stations operating in microwave band is characterized in production of variable-section round waveguide length symmetrically expanding toward center of this length, distance between diametrically opposite longitudinal metal strips being constant and equal to diameter of input/output section of round waveguide length.
EFFECT: reduced ellipticity and reflection loss; facilitated manufacture.
