FIELD: television systems including those using distant infrared-range cameras.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is characterized in that spectral and brightness characteristics of objects can be evaluated and analyzed by their television images in distant infrared range. To this end infrared image of object is transposed in visible range of spectrum, customary objects, such as human face, snow, grass, and the like, being transmitted in usual color (flesh, white, green, etc.). So proposed method depends on following premises: color of images of known objects should coincide for customary sensing of color television image of object taken in distant infrared range for which purpose a few reference points on "radiant energy/video signal" conversion characteristic will suffice.
EFFECT: facilitated evaluation and analysis of spectral and brightness characteristics of objects by their images in infrared range.
