FIELD: disposable dust-collecting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: cleaning article has main sheet and layer formed on one or both sides of main sheet and composed of corrugated fibers oriented in single direction. Said layer is connected with main sheet along plurality of connecting lines intersecting said single direction. Individual connecting lines are made V-shaped. Cleaning article is provided with recesses formed by simultaneous partial cutting of main sheet and said layer, said recesses extending in parallel with and between connecting lines. Layer has uncut parts arranged between two connecting lines. Method involves feeding main sheet and at least one layer including corrugated fibers oriented in single direction; locating said layer on at least one side of main sheet; connecting main sheet and said layer together along plurality of connecting lines intersecting said single direction for producing of sheet material, with main sheet and said layer including thermoplastic resin; forming connecting lines by welding main sheet and said layer with the use of heated corrugating roller, with individual connecting lines being made V-shaped; providing simultaneously partial cutting of main sheet and said layer to form recesses extending in parallel with and between connecting lines; separating sheet material for obtaining of cleaning article.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in collecting dust during wiping of surface in any direction and reduced production costs.
