FIELD: wiping facilities for removal of dust and/or soil from floor or wall surface.

SUBSTANCE: wiping sheet has thermally welded main sheet and plurality of thermally welded elongated filaments connected by thermal welding method with main sheet and extending in first direction. Elongated filaments are connected with main sheet along plurality of welding lines intersecting first direction. Groups of elongated filaments extending between each pair of adjacent welding lines define parts similar to webs, and other group of elongated filaments arranged between each pair of web-like parts adjacent to one another in direction intersecting first direction and extending between pair of adjacent welded lines, have respective parts divided into two sections, of which at least one section may form piled part on main sheet, with proximal ends restricted with respective one of welded lines. Method involves applying pressure of cutting tool to combination of elongated filaments and to thermally welded main sheet so that plurality groups of elongated filaments extending between each pair of adjacent welded lines have respective portions divided into two sections and recesses simultaneously formed in thermally welded main sheet. As a result, thermally welded main sheet is fused and hardened along peripheral edges of recesses.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in collecting of dust and/or soil from narrow spacings and gaps between surfaces and reliably retaining thereof on wiping sheep.
