FIELD: manufacture of complex-profile articles , for example motor vehicle wheels.
SUBSTANCE: method of making articles having restricted zones of cross section and (or) peripheral portion remote from place of melt pouring comprises steps of selecting parameters of pressure, speed and deformation temperature in super-plasticity mode for given metal or alloy; setting pressure for time period from moment of approaching punch to metal heel before beginning of crystallization in part of article with least cross section area and (or) mostly remote from pouring place; heating die set until temperature providing deformation in mode of super-plasticity and keeping metal or alloy in melt state for time period of setting pressure.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of articles, practically the same as of hot forged products.
