WINDSHIELD WIPER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2233755 C2

FIELD: automotive industry; windshield wipers.

SUBSTANCE: proposed windshield wiper has elongated curved base made of elastic material with modulus of elongation from 50 to 350 GPa. Base has minimum perimeter of cross section in all points along its length. Size of width in widest place along length of base Wm in mm is maximum (-8,889*10-5*E+0,05378)*L-5,25 where L is full length of base in millimeters and E is modulus of elongation of base material in GPa. Description of invention contains also formulas for determining thickness Tm of base in most narrow place of base and relationship between thickness and length of base expressed in ratio of width Wm of base to length L and ratio of thickness Tm of base to length of base obtained experimentally.

EFFECT: provision of optimum serviceability f windshield wiper.
