SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of and machine 1 for wrapping article 2 in sheet 3 of heat-welded wrapping material by means of which sheet 3 of wrapping material is bent by stationary bending device 10 and applied to wall 4 of article 2 so that at least two parts 11 of wrapping material sheet 3 are placed one onto the other, sheet 3 of wrapping material, after bending, is released step-by-step from stationary bending device 10, and sealing surface 63 of sealing head 12 is brought into position opposite to parts 11 placed one onto other as these parts 11 are released from bending device 10.
EFFECT: improved quality of wrapping, provision of simple device inexpensive in operation.
