FIELD: water treatment; decontamination of water in submersible habitable vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: proposed bactericide apparatus has housing provided with water supply and discharge branch pipes and divided into radiation and clarification chambers with filtration cartridges. Radiation chamber is made in form of U-shaped pipe with ultraviolet lamp and water flow swirler mounted coaxially in each side section. Water flow swirler may be made in form of disk with though holes which are inclined relative to disk axis. Disk are located as mirror image relative to each other. Water supply and discharge branch pipes are located at distance from upper edge of side sections H>d/2, where d is inner diameter of branch pipe. Water clarification chamber is secured between side sections of U-shaped pipe and is hydraulically connected with one of side sections. Filter cartridges may be made from elasto-deformable microporous material, for example polymer fibers.

EFFECT: improved quality of decontamination; compactness of apparatus; reduced vibrations and noise.
