FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of seawater purification, namely to devices for neutralizing shipboard ballast water. Installation can be used as a standard ship's equipment for the neutralization of ballast water, and also as a prototype technology sample for offshore or offshore tests with a view to subsequent certification in the IMO. Installation for neutralizing shipboard ballast water includes at least one filter comprising a filter element arranged in its housing in the form of a helically wound wire of a triangular cross-section, a copper ion generation unit, an ozonization unit, an ultraviolet irradiation unit, a biocide dosing device, a monitoring and control system, pumps, pipelines and shut-off valves. Installation is made in the form of a multifunctional module in which the elements of the apparatus in the form of a copper ion generation device, an ozonization unit and an ultraviolet radiation unit are enclosed in a housing of a filter placed therein. For this, the filter is arranged to supply the treated water inwardly of the filter element installed along the filter axis, through the through windows formed in the lower bottom of the filter housing, and the subsequent withdrawal of the treated water to the outlet of the filter through the windows formed in its intermediate bottom. Filter element is fixed between said bottoms and is made of predominantly titanium wire of triangular cross section by winding on a titanium frame with holes such that base of the triangle in the section of the wire faces inwardly of the filter element. Vertex of the triangle is turned outwards. Inside the filter element, coaxially with its longitudinal axis, the turbine is rotatably mounted and reciprocated in the axial direction, containing at least two helicoidal helical blades fixed to the ends in the support disks and equipped with copper brushes that are in contact with the inner surface of the filter element. Brushes collectively represent a device for generating copper ions. Ultraviolet irradiation unit is disposed around the filter element in the annular gap between the outer surface of the filter element and the inner wall of the filter housing and consists of rounded ultraviolet lamps, protected by quartz covers, the upper end of which is communicated with the atmosphere. Unit also contains an ozone-generating chamber formed by a space inside the quartz cover around the ultraviolet lamp and configured to forcibly utilize ozone. As a biocide dosing device, a bromoselective filter is used, which is located on the upper bottom, in the form of a module cover, at the outlet of water from the filter, and is configured to flow through it seawater. Seawater has previously passed purification on the filter element, treatment with ultraviolet rays and enriched with copper ions. Water inlet to the filter is arranged through a drainage partition in the module cover, permeable to seawater and impermeable to bromine-selective filtering load particles. Installation includes a water-air ejector installed in the pipeline at the outlet of water from the module, with an air cavity of which the lower cavity of the ozone-generating chamber is communicated.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the equipment in terms of the quality of sea water treatment and reduce unit costs (labor, energy, material) while at the same time ensuring environmental and human health and the environment.
