FIELD: environment monitoring.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of ecological monitoring of a settlement and is pertinent to the field of environmental monitoring. The method provides for determination and assignment on a map of a settlement, a part of a settlement and / or works with high percent of morbidity of the population. Then the samples of soils, water and air are taken hallmarks of soil, water, air and-or materials at the works. The samples are tested by microorganisms to reveal availability in them of a dangerous cumulative effect of potentially present there hazardous substances, on depressing habitability and-or destruction of the testing microorganisms determine ecological dangerous places. Further using instruments they determine kinds and percentage of hazardous substances. Then measures on protection of the population against most significant of the revealed hazardous substances and-or on elimination of their sources are taken. Then a repeated testing is conducted. The invention allows to increase self-descriptiveness of a monitoring of a settlement, to improve its reflection on maps regarding ecological evaluation of its territory and installations located on it, to reveal areas and-or installations with total dangerous affect of several parasitic factors, to reduce expenses of time and money for identification of species, quantities, a source of these parasitic factors and provide ecological protection of inhabitants and working people.

EFFECT: the invention allows to identify ecological dangers in settlements areas and protect inhabitants and working people there.
