SUBSTANCE: proposed diversity transmission system has at least four antennas. Proposed universal transmitter (UTRAN) of ground-based radio communication system for linking with subscribers of universal mobile communication system incorporating at least four antennas has first adder connected to first antenna, second adder connected to second antenna, third adder connected to third antenna, and fourth adder connected to fourth antenna. Proposed method and device provide for diversity transmission of signal in universal ground-based mobile communication system with aid of more than two antennas.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of diversity signal transmission using more than two antennas.
