TREE TRANSPLANTATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: horticulture, in particular, tree transplantation for garden reconditioning.

SUBSTANCE: method involves digging out ball root tree and planting it in preliminarily prepared planting pit having walls inclined from South to North in vertical plane at an angle of 75-80 deg to horizontal plane; setting North and South direction marks on surface of planting pit upper edge; before digging out procedure, determining branches oriented to North and to South by going around tree and using compass and applying respective marks to branches; planting tree while taking into account that orientation indicated by marks on branches must coincide with those set on planting pit upper edge surface.

EFFECT: improved conditions for development of root system of transplanted trees and provision for complete adaptation of tree with reduced depression extent.
