FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery, traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: one should introduce a sealing element into bleeding osseous section. Moreover, at first, this sealing element should be formed out of resected autobone at sizes not exceeding the thickness of porous layer in bleeding section of cranial bone. Then sealing element should be captured between branches of fixing instrument to apply it to bleeding osseous section and with a pusher located between the branches one should introduce it with effort till complete submersion into porous osseous layer. In preferable variable one should form sealing element to be wedge-shaped out of cortical osseous layer with porous osseous substance to be introduced into bleeding bone with its narrowed end. Moreover, with branches one should capture sealing element along the length of its cortical part which should be cross-sectional to the planes of cranial osseous layers.
EFFECT: decreased number of postoperational complications.
