FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using human or animal connective tissue. After mechanical treatment tissue is cut for bands with length from 1.0 to 3.0 cm, width from 0.5 to 2.0 cm and through holes are cut out with diameter 1-2 mm and density 1-3 per cm2, not less. Then bands are placed successively in 6% hydrogen peroxide solution for from 1 to 3 h, in 4 M urea solution for from 15 to 24 h and then in 2 M sodium chloride solution for from 15 to 24 h, washed out with purified water for from 10 to 24 h, treated three times with mixture of chloroform and ethyl alcohol in the ratio = 1:1 for from 10 to 24 h, washed out with purified water for from 1 to 10 h at constant change and stirring, dried, lyophilized and sterilized by the dose from 1.7 to 2.5 Mgrad. Invention provides enhancing the quality of biomaterial for application in ophthalmology, by reducing its antigenic properties and enhancing bioavailability.
EFFECT: improved preparing method, enhanced and valuable properties of biomaterial.
