FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: transplant is made from an allogeneic sclera. After mechanical cleaning, it is soaked in a 6% solution of hydrogen peroxide for 4 hours. It is rinsed with distilled water. The transplant is frozen for 1-2 hours at -20°C. Defrosted and soaked for 2 hours in a 10% solution of ammonium hydroxide at 40°C. Washed with sterile distilled water and again soaked for 6 hours in a 6% solution of hydrogen peroxide. Rinsed with sterile saline and placed in a 75% solution of ethyl alcohol. Sealed for storage until use.
EFFECT: manufacture of an organotypic allogeneic biocompatible collagen transplant from the sclera with significantly reduced antigenic properties.
