APPARATUS FOR INTRODUCING IMPLANTS (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine and medical equipment, in particular, introducing of several implants.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has tubular cannula with tip, said cannula also serving as vessel for implants, piston and handle with first end oriented to cannula and second end oriented away from cannula. Piston and handle are attached or made for fixed attachment to one another. Cannula is positioned for longitudinal displacement so that piston moves within it. After implant or implants are introduced, cannula may be drawn to upper part of piston for covering of cannula tip by handle or members connected with handle, and/or, when drawn to extreme position toward second end of handle, cannula is positioned for irreversible fixation relative to piston. Handle is equipped with channel extending longitudinally thereof. Channel provides for longitudinal displacement of cannula. Channel end oriented away from cannula tip is equipped with button. Construction of apparatus prevents the latter from repeated usage.

EFFECT: simplified construction and provision for safe disposable apparatus for introducing of implants.
