FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely production of powdered materials with desired properties.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of hydrogenation for producing transition metal hydride, disintegrating it and dehydrogenating. According to invention steps of hydrogenation, disintegration and dehydrogenation are combined in single cycle performed in mutually connected apparatuses for receiving next doze of metal hydride. Hydrogenation is performed at temperature more than 400C with possibility of further temperature elevation at argon blowing through dehydrogenation apparatus until providing target remained content of hydrogen in metal hydride less than 5cub.cm for 1g of powder. Argon-hydrogen mixture formed at outlet of dehydrogenation apparatus is fed to hydrogenation apparatus for receiving next doze of metal hydride.
EFFECT: reduced fire and explosion hazard of process, improved monitoring of manufacturing process.
