FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of powder metallurgy, in particular to a method for producing a hydrogenated metal powder. They can be used to obtain powders that are used in additive technologies, to obtain pure hydrogen, to produce low-gas heating mixtures and getters. The initial powder is moistened with isopropyl alcohol and hydrogenation is carried out by the electrochemical method in an aqueous electrolyte solution containing, g/l: potassium chloride (KCl) 50-300, dextrin (C6H10O5)n or thiourea (CH4N2S) 1.0-2.0, at constant voltage 3.6-5.0 V and cathodic current density 45-110 mA/cm2 for 90-180 minutes. Then, grinding is carried out in a high-intensity mill with a ratio of the volume of the ground powder to the volume of grinding bodies of 1:5, at a rotation speed of the planetary disk of 1820-2300 rpm and an acceleration of 60-75 g.
EFFECT:invention provides the production of fine powders with an average particle size of less than 10 microns, reducing the duration of the process while maintaining the yield of the target product.
