FIELD: coke production.
SUBSTANCE: masonry is designed for coke furnace having coke chamber, heating partitions divided into vertical heating channels and made from refractory parts. Surface of parts facing inside furnace is provided with slots. Heating partitions of refractory parts have head portions provided at their both sides with 2-3 vertical slots. Slot depth and width ratio is 1:(2-2.3).
EFFECT: reduced coke loss during discharge thereof from furnace owing to enhanced integrity of face part of coke cake.
