FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: repair method of refractory masonry of furnaces of coke battery without its withdrawal from a production cycle, and with shutdown of furnaces under repair and those which are adjacent to the furnaces under repair involves coke output from furnaces under repair and shutdown of buffer furnaces, reduction of temperature in buffer furnaces and furnaces under repair, bonding of heating partition walls of buffer furnaces adjacent to furnaces under repair using heat insulating material, disassembly of repairable heating partition walls, arrangement of a new masonry of partition walls and installation of embedded parts of the furnace. A demountable steel structure in the form of a bridge consisting of longitudinal beams and transverse beams, the number of which depends on the number of repairable partition walls, is mounted simultaneously with the beginning of disassembly of partition walls along the top of coke battery above the section of repair zone of the battery. At that, the bridge is mounted under both rails of rail tracks so that the carrying capacity of the mounted bridge is not less than the weight of one wagon fully loaded with coal charge.

EFFECT: reduction of the period of repair works at improvement of operating reliability and reduction of material costs for repair works.
