FIELD: cardiovascular surgery, in particular, equipment used for temporary pinching of aorta and great vessels.
SUBSTANCE: aortic clamp has tubular casing, tie-rod, operating part made in the form of movable and immovable jaws, and movable and immovable arms with rings. Jaws are arranged at one end of casing and arms are arranged at other end of casing. Tie-rod connects movable jaw with movable arm located inside casing. Distal part of casing is composed of tubular links, which are connected with one another for angular declinations in single plane with respect to one another and for fixation. Links are made in the form of polygonal inserts fitted with axle shafts and central opening. Contact surfaces of each link are beveled at their one side relative to aortic clamp axis. Proximal link is connected through insert to casing proximal end, which is made in the form of tube provided with screw equipped with left-hand and right-hand thread and related nut on each thread. Tie-rod ends are fixed on nuts. Tie-rods are extending from tubular part of casing through segment-shaped slots in side parts of links and are fixed on immovable jaw base, on which movable jaw is pivotally mounted. Movable jaw is connected by tie-rod through central openings of inserts with movable arm by means of pivot joint arranged in tubular part of casing. Rack-and-pinion with stop is mounted on arms. Clamp of such construction provides for reliable pinching of various parts of aorta, when casing and arms of clamp are properly arranged on chest or abdominal wall outside operating table.
EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency.
