FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has cotyloid cavity member, thrust bearing, ball head set between the thrust bearing and the cotyloid cavity member, diaphysial stem and neck. The thrust bearing produced as spherical recess in proximal neck area is mounted in proximal neck area. The cotyloid cavity member and the thrust bearing have two diametrically arranged pedicles congruently and slidably embracing the head member and surpassing equator with their ends. Cotyloid cavity member and thrust bearing pedicles logs are arranged in contrary directions in mutually perpendicular planes. Truncated cone boss provided with supporting thread is available on external surface of the cotyloid cavity member.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improved biomechanical and service characteristics.
