FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has spherical head fixed on threaded neck, spherical body, trochanteric part, leg and captive nut for fastening the spherical body and round lock nut. Cylindrical sleeve threaded on its internal surface is mounted on the spherical body with its base. Neck is axially movable in the sleeve and fixable with round lock nut. The trochanteric part has hemispherical recess for receiving spherical body and cylindrical externally threaded surface corresponding to captive nut and round lock nut. The captive nut has flange. Contact surfaces of captive nut and spherical body are congruent. At least eight slots are available on the round lock nut and spherical body captive nut flange to receive key.
EFFECT: controllable and fixable endoprosthesis neck length and angles formed by neck and leg of the prosthesis.
