FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely multispindle plano type machine tools for working openings in large-size units and parts such as tube walls of heat exchangers. SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes table for mounting and securing worked parts; portal moved on guides provided along table and having crosspiece supporting carriage moved in guides by means of separate drive unit and carrying multispindle unit having at least one vertically drilling spindle assembly for deep drilling and one milling-boring spindle assembly. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities spindles (that are functionally connected at deep drilling) are mounted in common casing - tail spindle with two parallel ducts for mounting spindles of above mentioned assemblies. Said tail spindle is mounted in such a way that axes of both spindles are laid in the same vertical plane normal relative to motion direction of carriage.
