FIELD: railway signaling and communication.

SUBSTANCE: train derailment detect or and information system are arranged on train and are made for forming and transmitting emergency signal to train driver and/or station operator on duty, and/or to track-side stationary signal receive-transmit post. Used as detector is noncontact device furnished with amplifier and amplitude-frequency filter, or hinged contact device. Information system is equipped with derailment identification device. Detector can be installed on each unit of rolling stock. Noncontact detector is mainly magnetodynamic, acoustic or piezoelectric, while contact detector is made electromechanical.

EFFECT: provision of revealing derailment in motion, i.e. provision of spatial function for device.
