FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of detecting the derailment of wheelsets, dragging metal parts of rolling stock or elements of fastening cargo. The device contains at least two sensors for monitoring the derailment of rolling stock, made in the form of inductive sensors connected to a signal processing unit and placed in a ballast prism between sleepers inside and outside the rail track so that they completely cover the area of monitoring the possible derailment of rolling stock, while the sensors for monitoring the derailment of rolling stock are placed in the ballast section of adjacent gaps between sleepers. Each rolling stock derailment monitoring sensor contains a housing made in the form of a hollow frame with a conductor and insulator winding placed in it between the turns of the conductor. The coils of the conductor can be made in the form of cable cores, and the insulator in the form of insulation of cable cores.

EFFECT: integrity of the sensors is preserved when the wheel pairs derail in the case of pushing and cutting through the wooden sleepers with the wheel flange.
