FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for producing ozone using barrier electric ozonizers. Air is fed on inlet in an interelectrode space of barrier ozonizer and part of its volume is fed through by-pass connecting inlet and outlet of ozonizer. In an interelectrode space turbulent regimen on air flowing is provided wherein Reynolds number is maintained according to the condition: Re ≥ 2200. The specific electric charge of ozonizer is taken such to provide temperature on surface of dielectric barrier higher than sublimating point of nitrogen oxides and the distribution of specific heat energy between dielectric barrier, air and metallic electrode free of barrier is taken in the form of empiric ratio = 0.54:0.10:0.36, respectively, and total heat evolution is taken as 0.85-0.90 of the total active power of corona discharge. Except for, method involves multiple feeding air to be ozonized in discharge zone and providing the regulated cooling system with vacuum boiling. Invention provides the enhanced output by ozone per 1 m2 of electrode square of ozonizer in high concentration of produced ozone, reducing exploitation consumptions, enhancing safety and working life.
EFFECT: improved producing method.
