FIELD: precious metal technology. SUBSTANCE: method includes stripping of initial raw material by hydrochlorination, gold separation, extraction purification to remove nonprecious metal impurities, palladium extraction and platinum extraction, preparation of iridium and rhodium concentrate and their separation by extraction. Gold is separated by adjusting redox potential of solution to 500- 550 mV measured against normal hydrogen electrode. Platinum and/or palladium are recovered by simultaneous, but separate extraction from solution obtained after purification from non-precious metal impurities. Separate platinum and/or palladium extracts are therefore obtained. Platinum and/or palladium are then reextracted from these extract solutions. Raffinates obtained after extraction of platinum and palladium are combined and precipitate of platinum metals is formed by on-cathode electrolysis, after which cathodic precipitate is dissolved. Solution is further used for additional recovery of useful components.
