FIELD: mechanical engineering; ventilators and fans.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be in ventilation and heating systems and pneumatic systems of grain cleaning machines. Proposed cross-flow fan has volute housing with inlet port and pressure branch pipe adjoining the port, and bladed impeller. It has curvilinear guide vanes whose leading edges are located in vertical planes perpendicular to axis of rotation of impeller, and trailing edges are pointed to side of outlet section of pressure branch pipe. Initial part of inner and outer walls of pressure branch pipe is of shape and size similar to those of curvilinear guide vanes.

EFFECT: provision of construction of air flow getting out of cross-flow fan without violation of pressure and velocity fields of plane-parallel air flow at inlet of fan and in its passage part.
