FIELD: testing of structures or apparatus.

SUBSTANCE: bench has the base provided with the lock holder and mechanism for axial and angular movement of the key, blocks for measuring force required for inserting and removing the key, the value of torque required for rotation of the key and voltage drop at the clamps of the ignition lock, which is provided with flexible members and pickups for determining flexible deformation, control and indication block which comprises PC with monitor and keyboard, analogue-digital converter, assemble of force keys, and power source. The block of control and indication is provided with a program for determining switching off of the measured values and devices for sound alarm and stop of the operation of the bench, block with inductive coils and resistors for simulating reactive and active resistance of board circuit of a vehicle.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of the bench.
