FIELD: handling solid radioactive wastes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed plant has furnace in the form of reactor with casing-enclosed tank incorporating main chamber with hinged grate bottom, auxiliary chamber, and cover with flap-controlled relief hole and kindling material charger. Plant has mixer with charging port and discharging port, kindling material charger built in reactor cover and mounted in its cavity, as well as kindling device. Mixture charger has cylinder communicating with discharging port of mixer through its side hole and mixture stirring mechanism installed therein. Filtering assembly is connected in tandem with draft ventilation unit and gas-collection pipe. Slime discharger incorporating discharging port and side holes in tank is joined with reactor casing. Air intake is connected to side hole of slime discharger tank. Removable vessel with flap is used to receive components of mixture being treated and is mounted on mixer charging port. Slime removable vessel with flap is joined to discharging port of slime discharge auger. Pipeline provides communication between upper space of mixer and duct between reactor and filtering unit. Thermochemical reactor has auxiliary chamber disposed on one side of main chamber. Mixer charging cylinder communicates through its butt-end hole with side hole provided on reactor auxiliary chamber. Kindling device is built in slime discharger tank for displacement and is mounted under grid bottom of reactor.
EFFECT: enhanced capacity, economic efficiency, and safety.
