FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: by digital pictures of eye bottom one should calculate average diameter, in pixels; deviations against rectilinearity characterizing deviation of vessel's route against rectilinear direction and being a dimensionless value; picture clearness detected as irregularity of vessel's thickness at measured section, on a percentage basis; amplitude of thickness fluctuations characterizing the degree of motor deviation of vessel's walls against direct line measured in pixels; frequency of thickness fluctuations characterizing the quantity of directional alterations of vessel's wall per a unit of its length measured in reverse pixels; amplitude of route fluctuations detecting the degree of motor deviation of the route against rectangular one measured in pixels and frequency of route fluctuations detecting the quantity of directional alterations of the route per the unit of vessel's length, measured in reverse pixels. If veins of the 1st order has got: average diameter above 19.4; deviation against rectilinearity above 1.09; picture clearness above 9.6; amplitude of thickness fluctuations above 3.0; frequency of thickness fluctuations above 0.08; amplitude of route fluctuations above 24.1; frequency of route fluctuations above 0.04, veins of the 2nd order has got: average diameter above 17.2; deviation against rectilinearity above 1.05; picture clearness above 8.3; amplitude of thickness fluctuations above 2.1; frequency of thickness fluctuations above 0.08; amplitude of route fluctuations above 19.5; frequency of route fluctuations above 0.03, veins of the 3d order has got: average diameter above 13.8; deviation against rectilinearity above 1.03; picture clearness above 7.6; amplitude of thickness fluctuations above 1.95; frequency of thickness fluctuations above 0.08; amplitude of route fluctuations above 13.6; frequency of route fluctuations above 0.016 one should diagnose early stages of diabetic retinopathy.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of diagnostics.
