FIELD: equipment for making wire by slitting band material.

SUBSTANCE: line includes uncoiler, apparatus for butt welding, band accumulator, multi-row disc slitter, first unit for working wire. Said unit is mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion in lengthwise direction from drive device and it is provided with openings for wire whose diameter is less than diagonal of wire cross section. Line includes multi-row wire accumulator, first drawing die unit, coiler and also it includes second unit for working wire with openings for wire whose diameter is less than that of openings of first unit for working wire. Second unit for working wire is mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion from drive device in lengthwise direction opposite relative to that of first unit for working wire. Line may be provided with second drawing-die unit and drive device for reciprocation motion of first and second drawing die units in mutually opposite lengthwise directions.

EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of line due to uniform load of wire at working it.
