FIELD: polymer materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of molded polyurethane materials, in particular foamed plastics, using considerable amount of polyol with relatively high content of ethylene oxide motifs, which materials are useful for structural units in various technical branches and for household-destination ware imparting them good performance characteristics. Manufacture of polyurethane material comprises following stages: (i) oiling those mold surfaces, which would be in contact with ingredients used in preparation of polyurethane material and/or with already prepared polyurethane material; (ii) introducing ingredients used for preparation of polyurethane material into mold; (iii) allowing these ingredients to react to form polyurethane material; (iv) dislodging thus formed polyurethane material; and (5) repeating stages (ii)-(iv) at least 10 times without repetition of stage (i) wherein at least 25 wt % of ingredients (excluding water if any) are represented by polyol based on a polyether with functionality 2 to 6, equivalent weight 500 to 5000, and content of ethylene oxide units at least 50 wt %.
