FIELD: wind-power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for driving working members of electric generators, pumps and other mechanisms. Proposed wind motor contains shaft radial crossmembers secured on shaft and shaped blades hinge-coupled with crossmembers. Axis of hinge joints of each blades is displaced from blade gravity center and focus of aerodynamic to side from its nose. Blades are secured in joints for freely turning within the limits of sectors limited by mechanical stops.
EFFECT: increased coefficient of utilization of wind energy and creation of wind motor capable of accelerating owing to blade lift force.
