FIELD: aero hydro dynamics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerohydrodynamic engines converting energy of translational motion of gas or liquid medium, for instance, wind or water flow, into rotation of shaft of power machines. Proposed aerohydrodynamic engine has vertical shaft of rotation, axles connected with shaft and parallel to shaft and shaped blades hinge-mounted on axles. Blades have concave-convex or flat-convex type of profile. Blades diametrically opposite to axis of rotation are hinge-connected with rigid rod by means of levers secured on convex sides of levers arranged square to plane of blades along line of their vertical turning axes. Axis of hinge joint of each blade is displaced from center of gravity and focus of aerodynamic profile to side of larger part of blade. Vertical shaft of rotation is provided with hollow regular prism with vertices of angles pointed to corresponding axes of blades. Through slots are made perpendicular to axis of shaft rotation in angles of hollow regular prism at different tiers of working space.

EFFECT: increased engine power output and its efficiency at improvement of its operating characteristics.
