FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to perform highly accurate measurements of organic gases, oxygen, gaseous oxides concentrations and for determination of isotopic composition of carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen in mixtures of organic gases. System for isotopic chromato-mass-spectrometric analysis of organic gas mixtures comprises the following serially connected components - facility of sample input, capillary gas chromatographic column for separation of analysed sample, unit of separated sample oxidation, arranged in the form of solid electrolyte electrochemical oxygen-conducting cell and unit of control and processing of information, unit of oxidised sample oxides reduction and isotopic mass spectrometre. According to invention, unit for reduction of oxidised sample oxides is arranged in the form of solid electrolyte electrochemical oxygen-conducting cell, which is installed coaxially in tube furnace and comprising solid electrolyte ceramic tube with current conductors and working electrodes applied in the form of films from external and internal side, and unit of control and processing of information is electrically connected via current conductors to electrodes of solid electrolyte tube of cell, and besides, system additionally comprises capillary chromatographic column with nonpolar phase, which is installed between unit of oxidation and unit of oxides reduction, at the same time solid electrolyte tubes of cells are equipped with electrodes of comparison, which are arranged on outer side of solid electrolyte tubes of cells with gap versus outer working electrode and joined to units of control and information processing.
EFFECT: improved reliability of produced isotopic data as a result of full control over sample oxidation processes and reduction of oxides.
