FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out cornea epithelium scarification, separating conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule, cutting fibrous sheath, removing scleral capsule contents, excising scleral capsule, implanting endoprosthesis, suturing fibrous eye tunic flaps together, setting implant, suturing Tenon's capsule and conjunctiva, setting temporary and permanent prosthesis with congruent concave parts. After having the horizontal or horizontal fibrous eye tunic flaps sutured in pairs, a biocompatible implant of 1 to 10 mm height is sutured to the flaps and then, the remaining horizontal or horizontal fibrous tunic flaps are connected in pairs above the implant. Stump formation is ended in placing sutures on conjunctiva and Tenon's capsule. Temporary eye prosthesis is set with its concave parts congruent to projection on the locomotor stump 2-3 weeks later after the operation .The permanent eye prosthesis is set with the like concave part 4-7 months later.
EFFECT: simplified operation method; improved eye prosthesis mobility; reduced risk of postoperative complications.
