FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for breaking materials in form of solids of revolution of diameter smaller than their length. Proposed hammer crusher includes chamber with inlet and outlet necks, rotor with hammers and riddle. Device for orientated delivery of grain to rotor hammers is mounted over rotor. Said device consists of two conveyors and shaft installed for rotation towards each other, speed of rotation of first conveyor being 1.5-2.5 times less than speed of shaft rotation, and speed of shaft rotation is 1.5-2.5 times less than speed of rotation of second conveyor Resulting vectors of speeds are pointed to rotor. Coefficient of friction of shafts and conveyor surfaces is 0.65-0.80.
EFFECT: improved of breaking, provision of more uniform granulometric composition, reduced energy consumption.
