FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology, ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for bioremediation of soils polluted with rocket fuel - heptyl. Invention proposes bacterial strain that is able to decompose asymmetric 1,1-dimethylhydrazine (heptyl). The strain Rhodococcus globerulus 19F VKPM AC-1642 is isolated from soil polluted with heptyl as result of emergency. The strain is grown in liquid nutrient medium and added to soil polluted with heptyl as measured 1 l/m2 at concentration of cells 107 cells/ml. Application of the strain allows significant reducing the content of heptyl and total integral toxicity of soil.
