FIELD: GPS systems engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device, in one variant of embodiment, has an antenna, which receives GPS signals at radio frequency from satellites within vicinity, converter with lowering of frequency, digital converter, memory, connected to digital converter, processor, connected to memory and working with memorized commands, by means of which operations of fast Fourier transformations of discrete GPS signals are performed at lowered frequency for receiving information about pseudo distance. Said operations include preliminary and post processing of GPS signals. After receiving selection of data in entry cascade of receiver power consumption is lowered. GPS signals receiver in one of embodiment variants also includes means for controlling power consumption, and in other variant - means for correcting mistakes in heterodyne, which is used for receiving GPS signals selections. Speed of calculation of pseudo distance and sensitivity of processing in receiver is heightened due to transfer from external source, like base station, of Doppler displacements of satellites frequency, which are in vicinity.
