SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing highly active antigen from Bernet's coxiellae for its the following using for diagnosis of Q fever. Method involves homogenization of chicken embryo yolk sacs infected with attenuated strain C. burnetti M-44 and their treatment with ether 1-2 times. Then ether phase is removed and acidified formamide is added to remained mass. In 16-18 h cooled acidified ethanol is added and mixture is centrifuged. Acidified acetone is added to supernatant, then mixture is centrifuged, precipitate is dissolved in physiological solution, pH = 7.2. Method provides preparing highly active antigen of Q fever pathogen with high percent yield of the final product.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
