FIELD: hydrocavitational equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing incorporating inlet member, inlet cylindrical channel, at least two chambers, and converging tube, said components of apparatus being arranged in axially aligned relationship, successively in the course of flow of liquid and communicated with one another. At least one intermediate cylindrical channel is arranged between chambers. Diameter din and length lin of intermediate channel satisfy ratios of 1.0<(din/d0)<2 and 0.7<(lin/d0)<2, where d0 is diameter of inlet cylindrical channel. Diameter dlch and length l1ch of first chamber satisfy ratios of 1.6<(d1ch/d0)<2 and 0.6<(l1ch/d0)<0.8. Diameter dch* and length lch* of each subsequent chamber satisfy ratios of 1.6<(dch*/din)<2 and 0.6<(1ch*/din)<0.8, where din* is diameter of intermediate cylindrical channel between subsequent and previous chamber. Converging cone is connected immediately to last chamber so as to define acute edge between adjacent surfaces of converging cone and last chamber. Apparatus of such construction allows cavitation extent (number of produced cavitational bubbles) to be increased.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and simplified construction of apparatus.
