METHOD OF UNDERWATER MASSAGE, DEVICE FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION AND CAVITATOR FOR UNDERWATER MASSAGE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61H33/04 A61H9/00

Abstract RU 2647329 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes a method of underwater massage, device for underwater massage and cavitator for underwater massage, belongs to the field of medicine and is designed for underwater hydrocavitation massage in medical, health and sports institutions and for an individual massage at home in a Jacuzzi bath. Method of underwater massage is based on a combined hydrodynamic and cavitation massage effect by a flooded pulsating jet stream on the patient's body parts immersed in a bath with a liquid medium. Massage is performed by simultaneous action on selected patient body parts by a set of spatially distributed cavitation jets with formation in each local area of action of the central circular zone of reduced pressure, middle annular zone with a hydrocavitating cavity, radially spreading along the selected area of local impact, and a peripheral annular zone of force hydrodynamic action. Impact on the allocated local areas is provided by means of cavitators installed in the respective places of the bath with the orientation of the cavitation jets on the hands, legs, neck and trunk of the patient. Device for underwater massage contains a water pump, a bath filled with water, valves installed in the water supply line, cavitators and a control panel, aerocompressor and an additional valve installed in the compressed air supply line. Cavitators are made in accordance with p. 4 and mounted on the walls of the bath with orientation of the cavitation jets on the arms, legs, neck and trunk of the patient. Water pump is connected through the water return loop to the hydraulic inputs of the cavitators. Aerocompressor is connected through the compressed air supply line to the air passages of the cavitators equipped with protective caps installed on the outputs of the cavitators, and the outputs of the control panel are connected to the control outputs of the water pump, the air compressor and the control inputs of the valves.

EFFECT: inventions make it possible to increase the efficiency of the procedure by carrying out a massage simultaneously on several parts of the patient's body with a combination of different types of massage effects provided by the use of cavitators.
